Day 1 Las Vegas-Grand Canyon-Las Vegas(335 miles)

Passengers should meet the tour guy in the lobby of the Circus Circus Sky Rise Tower. Our first trip of the day will be to the Hoover Dam, from where we will be able to look out over Lake Mead. From there, we will travel to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. We will visit Eagle Point, Guano Point, Skywalk Glass Bridge, and have the chance to take a Helicopter Tour of the canyon. In the evening, we will return to Las Vegas.

Las Vegas is known as the "Entertainment Capital of the World" for a good reason-- casinos and hotels line its streets, and visitors can gamble, see shows, and shop at virtually any hour of the day or night.

Great tour, did this one in 2014 with kids and husband, booked again for July 2019 with my sister. Skywalk bridge is great, this time will be doing the helicopter ride. TakeTours great company did a 9 day East Coast tour as well and will do this again this year. Great value for money.

The tour was 'OK'. We had a 'driver', not a guide. We were dropped off at the Visitor Center and instructed to be back at 3:30 PM. It would have been nice to have the advertised 'guide' along our stops to explain what we were seeing. A 'lunch' is also advertised as being included. Well, I don't know about you, but I don't think being handed a plastic grocery store type bag at 9:30 AM constitutes 'lunch' on an all day tour. PLUS, the ham/turkey/cheese sandwiches in our bags were warm & mushy. We were picked up at 0745 and there was a cardboard box on the front seat of the van we were in. Lo & behold, our 'lunch' was pulled out of this box --- NO REFRIGERATION, NO ICE --- it was a cardboard box, not a cooler! Needless to say, no one in our group of 6 ate the sandwiches and I know a few others did not either. This has got to be against some food safety laws! Thank goodness for the apple/orange/pretzels or else we would have been extremely hunger. My understanding when signing up for the tour was that we would be given a voucher for a meal at one of the visitor center/food places at one of the stops along the Grand Canyon ---- that did not happen. I am glad I took the tour simply for the natural beauty we saw but a real 'guide' and a genuine 'lunch' would have been nice, as promised.

The tour was great, so much fun. The guy who picked us in the hotel is okay, i don't know if he just drive us going to the grand canyon or he supposed to tell us something about the view or you know just like other tour guy that they will tell something in that place. But overall its really worth my money and time. The lunch is good. Im going to take this tour again.

We came all the way from Australia to see the Grand Canyon. Not sure which Rim we wanted to see initially but when we saw the awesome value tour by Take Tours to the West Rime we decided to try it. Fantastic service , great value. Don't drive out there yourself but go with this tour company. Our driver was very responsible in navigating the roads, and our guide was very good and entertaining. he supported us all the way. We will look them up when we need to have a tour again.

Good trip. Some pointers for those going on the trip. 1. Don't bring coffee in the morning. My fresh starbucks coffee went into the garbage cos they don't allow coffee. 2. Buy Skywalk tickets straight from the counter in Guano Point. You will understand why. 3. Do be aware of time. Guano point had good lunch meals but I didn't had time to eat. 4. Buy water at Location one. The water in Eagle Point and Guano Point is much more expensive. If not, bring water. It will be hot. 5. 3 hours was short. Wish I had one more hour at least. So go fast, do much. Enjoy!

We took this tour on June 20, 2018. There was slight delay of 5 minutes at pick up point. However, thereafter, everything went smoothly as they committed. Shown all the sightseeing spots. The guide was fantastic. TakeTours has made Grand Canyon & Hoover dam tour unforgettable and memorable. Thank a lot.

Tour is recommended. Very Punctual. Great tour guide in Roger. Trip finished an hour before schedule. Little mire time at Iconic Hoover Dam will make the trip better. Company should provide complimentary water on the coach
