Day 1 Las Vegas-Grand Canyon-Las Vegas(550 miles)

Passengers will be picked up at their Las Vegas, NV hotels in the morning. Today we will drive to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon for a day of exploration at Grand Canyon National Park.

After arriving at the VisitorÔ??s Center, we have the option to hike the 2.5-mile paved trail that runs from Mather Point to Grand Canyon Village and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of the canyon, Colorado River and the Phantom Ranch.

We will walk along the railed lookout and view the majestic beauty of one of the Seven Wonders of the World. From here, guests may continue on the rim trail and finish the hike at the Grand Canyon Village or take the park shuttle the rest of the way.

On our way back to Las Vegas, we will stop at the Hoover Dam, where guests will be able to go out and take pictures of the area.

Considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon was carved over 17 million years by the Colorado River. This breathtaking, 18-mile-long canyon has been stunning visitors for hundreds of years.

  • Always Visit
The South Rim of the Grand Canyon attracts over 5 million visitors each year and by far is the most visited side of the Canyon. As with all sides of the Canyon, the South Rim features astounding views of what took Mother Nature millions and millions of years to create.

Las Vegas is known as the "Entertainment Capital of the World" for a good reason-- casinos and hotels line its streets, and visitors can gamble, see shows, and shop at virtually any hour of the day or night.

  • Outside Visit
(Outside Visit) The beautiful Hoover Dam is located 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River. The massive concrete dam was a monumental undertaking built during the Great Depression and dedicated by Franklin Roosevelt himself.
