Day 1 Fortaleza

Guests will be picked up from their hotels in Fortaleza to begin this tour. Taking the Sol Nascente Road from the city, we will reach the beach of Canoa Quebrada. On the coast south of Fortaleza, in the district of Aracati, this is the perfect beach paradise, ideal for anyone searching for only the most unique, mystic and exotic landscapes. Massive, orange cliffs surround us, overlooking this little town where time has stopped. We can indulge our culinary palates by entering any of the huts along the beach where we'll be served some of the freshest seafood dishes we will ever taste. Rushing through the rugged sand dunes will make us feel like we're in the middle of an international rally race. We can bathe in the warm waters of this small, reef-protected bay, experiencing a peace that can be felt nowhere else. After spending our day here, we will return to Fortaleza, where guests will be dropped off at their hotels. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

Fortaleza is the state capital of Ceara, located in Northeastern Brazil. The city was one of the host cities of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

A small fishing village on the coast south of Fortaleza, this area is a little beach oasis that feels removed from modern society. The orange cliffs and sand dunes of the beach make it resemble a desert.
