Day 1

An expert official Tourist Guide will accompany you to the top of the highest building of Florence. During the climb of the Dome you will also have the chance to use the same staircase used by Brunelleschi. On the way up the 463 step staircase you will feel as if you went back in time as you go thru the narrow passages of this masterpiece building. Once you reach the top of the cupola you will enjoy an unforgettable view of Florence.

Please don?t forget to wear comfortable shoes and clothes. This tour will give you the chance to discover the technique used by Brunelleschi from a special point of view: you will be really close to the Frescos decorating the Dome, and you will discover the tools preserved inside the Museum of Opera del Duomo. In order to build the Dome quickly many tools where invented, these tools are still preserved in the Museum of the Cathedral and we will show them during our trip. The extraordinary thing is that many are used still this day. We recommend to wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

The Museum of Opera del Duomo will be closed for restructuring until the end of the 2015, so it will be substitute with the visit of the inside of the Museum of the Cathedral, its terrace and baptistery.
