Day 1: Fez - Azrou - Merzouga (353 km)

Our driver will pick up in Blue Gate in Fez at 8:00 AM and start our tour Leaving Fez and going to Sahara desert, passing through Ifrane to arrive at the cedar forests of Azrou where the wild monkeys are located. It will be a good opportunity to take photos of wilderness in Morocco. We continue the way through the Middle Atlas Mountains enjoying the landscapes to arrive at the small town of Midelt where we'll stop for lunch, and then to Ziz Valley, And then continue to the Sahara desert Merzouga, after relaxing few minutes. You'll ride the camels to spend the night in the desert. Night in Berber nomad tents.

    When you arrive Sahara desert Merzouga, after relaxing few minutes. You’ll ride the camels to spend the night in the desert. We live in Berber nomad tents.

Day 2: Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley (194 km)

In the Morning, all guests can enjoy the sunrise in the desert, then we go back on camels to Merzouga, after the breakfast and take shower in the Hotel then we start our tour to Dades Valley. On the way, we will visit the Berber villages containing, Todra Gorges, then we drive to Dades Valley. We will arrive in the evening.

Day 3: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Tizi N Tichka - Marrakech (236 km)

We leave Dades Valley to Marrakech in the Morning, we will visit Kasbah Taourirt & Atlas Studio in Ouarzazate and UNESCO protected the site of Ait Ben Haddou, a most impressive Kasbah and well-preserved fortress in Morocco. Many movies were filmed there such as the Gladiator. Leave Ait Ben Haddou and start heading towards the majestic Atlas Mountains. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass in Morocco Tizi N Tichka 2260m high offering impressive views of valleys, mountains and many Berber villages nearby. Arrive at Marrakech in evening around 6:00PM.

    Atlas Film Studio is largest film studio in the world. Atlas Film covers more than 322,000 square feet and it is located on the Orakarzate road, just five miles from Ouarzazate. It is a popular tourist destination. The Jewel of the Nile, The Living Daylights, Aladdin (2019 film), The Mummy have used the services of the studio.

    Kasbah Taourirt

    Kasbah Taourirt was built in the 19th century and the El Glaoui's power reached their peak in the 1930s. Although the castle is located at the strategic intersection of the caravan route, it has never really been inhabited by the chief of El Glaoui.

    Ait-Benhaddou

    Ait-Benhaddou is the ighrem on the former caravan route. Ait-Benhaddou is a model of Moroccan clay architecture and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987.

    This is a mountain pass in Morocco that connects the southeast of Marrakech to Ouarzazate through the High Atlas Mountains. The pass is passed through Route Nationale 9. At the summit, visitors will appreciate the magnificent views of the surrounding landscape.

    25% of total fee will be charged if cancel or change within 30 to 45 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    50% of total fee will be charged if cancel or change within 15 to 30 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    Absolutely NO refund on all cancellations or postponements within 15 days prior to departure (not including departure date).
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.

    Tour operator is not responsible for any loss of or damage to personal items, or personal injury that may occur on or during the tour.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:

If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.
