Day 1 Denver - Cheyenne (97 miles)
We will meet in the Denver Airport at 1:30pm at the Baggage Claim, East Terminal 6. Today we will take a brief tour of the city, visiting the golden-domed Colorado State Capitol Building and the Civic Center. We will also visit 16th Street Mall. Then we will drive to and stay overnight in the State Capitol of Wyoming, City of Cheyenne.
Day 2 Cheyenne - Crazy Horse - Mt. Rushmore - Devil's Tower - Gillette (456 miles)
In the morning, we will travel to Crazy Horse Memorial. Then, we will make our way to the iconic Mount Rushmore National Memorial and Bear Country. Next we will drive to the Devil's Tower. We will spend the night in Gillette.
Day 3 Gillette - Rocky Mountains - Yellowstone National Park - Cody (348 miles)
Drive through the Rockies enjoy mountains with glaciers and snow, blooming flowers and lush forests, rivers and waterfalls along the way. Next we will arrive in Yellowstone National Park. Arrive at the famous cowboy town of Cody in the afternoon. You may enjoy authentic Cowboy Rodeo (only available June through August) or firearms experience this evening (both at your own expense). Stay overnight in Cody.
Day 4 Cody - Yellowstone - Cody (172 miles)
Enjoy a full day adventure in World's First National Park - Yellowstone National Park, where we will admire the magnificent scenery of the snow-covered mountains, waterfalls, lakes, meadows, buffalo herds, elk, and the famous geysers and hot springs. Stay overnight in Cody.
Day 5 Yellowstone - Grand Teton National Park - Jackson Hole - Salt Lake City (330 miles)
After breakfast, we will continue to explore Yellowstone National Park. Afterwards, we will travel along the Snake River to Grand Teton National Park. Later on, we will stop in Jackson, WY. Be sure to visit the Elk Antler Arches Square located in the center of Jackson! Then we will drive to Salt Lake City to visit the Great Salt Lake. Stay overnight in Salt Lake City
Day 6 Salt Lake City - Las Vegas (420 miles)
In the morning we will explore Salt Lake City, UT. After visiting the Utah State Capitol, the Salt Lake Temple, the Temple Square, and Great Salt Lake Marina, we will travel to Las Vegas, where we will spend the night. Guests may take an optional night tour of the city.
Day 8 Las Vegas - Barstow - Los Angeles (272 miles)
Before we leave Las Vegas, we will travel to the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and its Botanical Cactus Gardens. From Feb 15, 2020, we'll visit Seven Magic Mountains before stop in Barstow, CA, to visit the Tanger Outlets. We will arrive back in LA at night.
Day 9 Los Angeles - 17 Miles - San Francisco (437 miles)
We will depart from Los Angeles and head to the picturesque Monterey Peninsula, where gentle sea breezes, meandering coast, surging waves, bizarre rocks, adorable seals and sea lions rest on the beach. Then we will stop at a world first-class Golf course and resort to view the amazing ocean view. Afterwards we enjoy the scenery of the 17 Miles, which is truly breathtaking. We may also explore the newly opened Pebble Beach Visitor Center. Arrive in Bay Area in the evening and overnight.
Day 10 Berkeley - San Francisco City Tour - Modesto (105 miles)
We visit the campus of UC Berkeley in the morning. From the nostalgic campus, Golden Gate Bridge and Golden Gate Straight can both be seen! Afterward, we'll drive to San Francisco, home to over 50 rolling hills and surrounded by water on 3 sides. Then we'll visit the Golden Gate Bridge before visiting Fisherman's Wharf. Here you can take an optional cruise on the San Francisco Bay (own expense). Next, we will visit Madame Tussaud or Exploratorium and then we'll visit the only building remaining from 1915 world's exposition, the Palace of Fine Arts. You may take a in-depth city tour at your own cost this afternoon. Stay overnight in Modesto.
Day 11 Modesto - Yosemite - Los Angeles (364 miles)
In the morning we'll depart from the hotel towards Yosemite National Park. Giant trees, mountains, and sparkling streams and lakes, glacier-carved canyons, all these unique features make up Yosemite. Take a walk in the woods and enjoy the fresh forest air. After lunch, we'll travel across Central Valley of California, where over half of the fruits, nuts, and vegetables grown in the country are produced every year. In the evening we'll return to Los Angeles.
