We will be picked up early from Cuzco and set out on a drive through the South Valley. We'll enjoy lunch in Pitumarca and then continue our trip to the trailhead at Quesoyuni. We will hike through villages and interact with the local residents. We might also have the opportunity to see adorable chinchillas and vicunas (the latter being the only non-domesticated animal of the llama family in Peru). When night falls, we will have a serene night's sleep under the stars.

Day 2 Llamachimpana - Vinicunca - Llamachimpana - Cuzco (80 km)
We will begin the day with an early climb up the beautiful Rainbow Mountain. Take in the sights of the magical landscapes and the valleys that this beautiful place offers. After soaking in the incredible views, we will go to the Red Valley Viewpoint. After, we'll begin our three-hour descent by crossing two beautiful lagoons Cochayoc and Yanacocha and arrive at Llamachimpana for lunch. After lunch, we'll travel back to Cuzco where your adventure comes to an end.
Vinicunca(Montaņa de Siete Colores) is also called Rainbow Mountain, it's famous because of the mountains' series of stripes of various colors. This is due to its mineralogical composition present on the slopes and summits

There is a mandatory pre-departure briefing at our Cuzco Headquarters one day prior to departure at 5pm, 6pm or 7pm depending on your trek. You will receive detailed information on your excursion, a list of what to bring and confirm your departure details.

Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of
booking by email. Within 36 hours of submitting your reservation you will
receive a confirmation email confirming the booking status.
Redemption
Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print and bring e-ticket(s) on your trip, as they serve as proof of purchase.

Cancellations and Cancellation Fees: Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee.Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
Booking changes: A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
Itinerary Variations: We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation: We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
