If you want value for your money, then this tour is really worth it. I was traveling with my parents so that I can show them east coast of US in less time without making it too hectic for them, and was a bit skeptical whether they will enjoy this journey or not. However, to my utmost surprise, this turned out to be one of the very good tours. The guide, Peter, and the bus Driver is friendly, calm, and knows very well how to do his job. I appreciate the way he calmly handled situations when some passengers did not follow his guidelines and went to do their own mini tours once we got down into different tourist spots. We had the brand new Chicago classic Volvo bus. Driver was an amazing and friendly person who drove the bus smoothly and ensured that we reached the different places on time. This tour ensures that one gets to see the major cities in the east coast and spend quality time in the attraction spots within these six days. Pros: The hotels were really very good and some provided complimentary breakfast. Quality time spent in NYC, Washington, and Niagara.Getting to visit places like the Henry Ford museum, the Met museum, and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a dream come true for those who love art, music, and history. The driver/guide allows passengers to carry food/drinks into the bus as long as you don't spill them and create a mess. The bus stops every two hours for restroom/coffee breaks. If you want to see the scenic beauty of America while traveling on road, this is the trip for you. Cons: The stops at Amish Farm and Potomac River Cruise could have been avoided especially one doesn't get to see the Pentagon, FBI/CIA headquarters as promised in the Potomac River Cruise itinerary. The stops at Baltimore and Pittsburgh could have been avoided as we didn't get to see much in those places. Rather, the halt at Philadelphia was surprisingly shorter especially since the city has a rich history and there so many places to explore. The guide makes an attempt to accompany you in most of the attractions. However, in some busy places like Times Square and the museums, you'll have to explore them by yourself. In short, this trip is worth it if you are interested in exploring the East Coast within a short period of time and reasonable budget

If you want value for your money, then this tour is really worth it. I was traveling alone and was a bit skeptical whether I will enjoy this journey or not. However, to my utmost surprise, this turned out to be one of the best tours I have taken in my life. Not only did I make good friends with other tourists in the bus, I found my travel companions through them. The guide, Peter, is friendly, calm, and knows very well how to do his job. I appreciate the way he calmly handled situations when some passengers did not follow his guidelines and went to do their own mini tours once we got down into different tourist spots. We had the bus and the driver changed a couple of times in the first three days but after that we had Tony as the driver. He is an amazing and friendly person who drove the bus smoothly and ensured that we reached the different places on time. This tour ensures that one gets to see the major cities in the east coast and spend quality time in the attraction spots within these six days. Pros: The hotels were really very good and some provided complimentary breakfast. The driver/guide allows passengers to carry food/drinks into the bus as long as you don't spill them and create a mess. The bus stops every two hours for restroom/coffee breaks. We also got to have two good Chinese buffets for dinner and lunch at a very cheap price courtesy the guide. Though, it was nice of the guide to give us a bus tour of the Pentagon when we complained about it. The stops at Baltimore and Pittsburgh could have been avoided as we didn't get to see much in those places. rather, the halt at Philadelphia was surprisingly shorter especially since the city has a rich history and there so many places to explore. The bus in the first 3 days was okayish and the seats were not that good especially those who have back pain. However, for the last three days, we got a bigger and better bus with good seats. The guide makes an attempt to accompany you in most of the attractions. However, in some busy places like Times Square and the museums, you'll have to explore them by yourself. In short, this trip is worth it if you are interested in exploring the East Coast within a short period of time and reasonable budget. I am definitely going to plan a trip (perhaps to the national parks) with Take Tours soon.

Initially was hesitant to travel solo, but in the end not a bad trip. Was a small group 13 of us, so the bus was a smaller one - not the most comfortable ride. Itinerary was very packed, could have easily spent one more day in DC to walk through the attractions versus drive to Maryland. Overall if you want a quick sightseeing trip of east coast not a bad deal- but be prepared for very short visitation to all the major attractions.

Overall, it was a very good trip. Me and my family enjoyed very much and definitely worth the price. Our tour guide, Ms.Momo, and our driver, Mr.Josh, they are both very good. Momo told us many interesting things about the USA, she is very knowledge and experienced, we like her a lot. The bus we had is a 2017 brand new bus, very comfortable. The hotels of the tour were good, clean, some of the days it has free breakfast, but is not near city of attractions, overall value for money, and we are satisfied of this experience.

Hi All, Me, my wife and my daughter took this tour. Overall the experience is good. Here is in depth explanation. The tour started from Chicago morning by 8AM, the tour guide checks the ticket and assigns a number to the family, seats are allotted based on this. you get continuous seats. Bus is okay but not great considering USA has great buses. This tour is operated by a tour company, TakeTours is only the booking agency. Most of the people are from China(around 60%), remaining are Indians(40%). Tour guides speaks and describes places in English followed by Chinese. Guide is cool, we need to stick to the time given for breaks/food/visit as it is going to be tight schedule for 6 days. One can sleep peacefully in bus during travel as there is enough driving all 6 days. All the crowd in our bus was very nice. We visited Detroit, Pittsburgh, Washington DC, Baltimore, New York, Niagara and Cleveland. Do not get carried away by all the places listed in this tour, guide will make attempt to cover but they do not follow full itinerary that is listed. We get enough time to visit and take pictures, e.g. in Niagara we got 2 hours to spend, in New York near Times Square we got 2 hours to spend. All hotels (5 nights) where we stay are very nice, in couple of hotels we get complimentary breakfast. All other food we need to manage ourselves, they will stop at food points. During the travel they stop for restroom break for every 2 hours so that is not an issue at all either for Kids or for Elders. Guide's and Drivers service charge will be 8$/person/day will have to be given. Entries at all visiting points are optional, we select the places we want to enter and pay accordingly to the guide, he has readily made the tickets available so no waiting in queues. First day we reach hotel bit late by 11pm and start next day by 7:30 AM, all other days we reach hotels around 8:30 PM and next day we start by 6,7:30/8AM. 6th day we will reach back to Chicago (O'Hare airport) by 6:30PM. If you want to cover whole of east coast with all prominent places in less time and economically then this is the tour which matches your requirement. If you want to relax for days in each place then do not think of this tour, go on your own. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. My family was here in USA for 12 days and we covered lot of places in 6 days which are not covered by people who even stay for years in USA. I recommend this tour. Note: Though The tour company say they do not allow food inside the Bus, Guide allows to eat, do not make it dirty, thanks for allowing to eat inside the bus which is much required. Go on Tour and enjoy the east coast.

The Tour guide was having good knowledge but he needed to take more interest in explaining about the attractions. Many times he would just drop us at the designated areas and we had to do our own research.Accommodations were fantastic. The bus was okay I expected it to be better. Itinerary was really good. Overall a very satisfying experience. Value for money.

Pros: 1) Covered almost all of the major attractions 2) Accommodation was very good. Cons: 1) Few places could be avoided. eg: Amish Village and Thundering Waters cultural show. 2) Accommodation for 5th night can be avoided in Jersey to some place en route of Niagara
