  • Buy 2 Get 3rd Free: (1) Cancellation of free-fare passenger must be made at least 7 days before departure. (2) No-show or late cancellation incurs a $210 penalty fee for the reserved bus seat.
  • Child rates: Child rates apply to those who are 0-12 years old. Child above 2 years must take the seat. Customers are welcome to use child safety seats on that have lap and/or shoulder belts/harnesses for the infant under 2 years. Please note that each hotel room can only accommodate up to 4 guests of any age.

Day 1: Chicago - Detroit(314 miles)

In the morning, we will depart from Chicago and drive to Detroit, the Motor City. Once we arrive, we will take the Ford Rouge Factory Tour to learn about the process of automobile production as we witness a car assembly and speak to staff members. If time does not allow for our visit to the factory, we will instead visit the Ford Museum.

    Ford Rouge Factory Tour

    Discover American car culture and innovation with a tour of the Henry Ford Factory, just outside of Detroit, Michigan. Voted one of the country's best museums by Conde Nast Traveler, guests learn about historic inventions while touring over 200 acres gallery filled with iconic Ford vehicles and 26 million artifacts. Guests can also watch a short documentary about the factory's past featuring rare archival footage.

Day 2: Corning Glass Museum - Watkins Glen(476 miles)

In the morning, we will leave our hotel to visit the Corning Glass Museum, which exhibits a wide range of glass products. Afterward, we will continue to Watkins Glen State Park, considered one of the most beautiful places in upstate New York. Here, we will be able to see 20 distinct waterfalls as we walk along the trail. State park admission and bus parking will cost an extra $10 per person.

Day 3: Letchworth State Park

Today, we will visit Letchworth State Park, one of the most spectacular landscapes in the Eastern U.S, where we will be able to feel the roar of the local waterfalls. We will get the chance to go rafting on the White River Rapids and take a hike. Please note that the rafting is subject to cancellation if the water levels are too high on the day of our visit.

Confirmation

  • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

  • Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. The time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through webmail at Contact Us .
  • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    15 days or more prior to departure - Free cancellation with full refund.
    8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    Within 7 days prior to departure or no show - 100% of the total purchase amount.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
  • Some of the destinations may be closed due to Covid pandemic.Please follow your tour leader's instruction. Your kind understanding and cooperation are highly appreciated.
