Day 1 Buenos Aires-Montevideo (205 km)
Guests will be picked up from the specified departure locations in Buenos Aires. Today we will take a ferry to Uruguay to visit the capital, Montevideo, which has a rich cultural life and is home to first class singers and musicians of all styles. It is also home to both official and independent theater circuits, among which the Solis is one of the best known. Our day will begin with a guided tour of the city, visiting the most important monuments to take pictures and bask in the sights. We will also visit the old part of town, where we will find a large number of cultural centers and museum which feature new paintings and photography expositions all the time. We will also have the opportunity to explore Taranco Palace, the Post Office, and the Cathedral. After learning about the city's history, we will enjoy some free time for lunch or to keep exploring. Afterwards, we will regroup to further tour the city. Later on, we will return to Buenos Aires.
