Day 1 Boston -Cambridge-Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market-USS Constitution

Guests will be picked up in Boston in the morning. We will travel across the Charles River to Cambridge, home of the oldest American college, Harvard University. Then, we will follow the route of Paul Revere's famed Midnight Ride through the historic towns of Belmont and Lexington. Here we will stand on Lexington Green, the location where the first shots of the American Revolution were fired, before continuing on to Concord, past the homes of writers Nathaniel Hawthorne, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and Louisa May Alcott. Then, we will return to Boston, stopping at the historic Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market, where we can eat lunch and shop on our own for a short time. In the afternoon, we will commence a two hour, fully-narrated tour of Boston, including a twenty minute stop at the USS Constitution.

It was a good trip and our guide, Scott, was very informative and funny. The driver was very helpful as well. It would have been good to allow a bit more time at the U.S.S. Constitution and extend the tour until 4:30.
