Day 1 Boston - Saint John(403 miles)

Passengers will be picked up in Boston in the early morning. We will head north, passing through New Hampshire and Maine on our way to New Brunswick, Canada. There, we will visit the town of St. John, NB and have the chance to take an exciting Jet Boat Ride on the Reversing Falls.

Saint John is the largest city in New Brunswick and the second largest city in the maritime provinces. It is known as the Fundy City due to its location on the north shore of the Bay of Fundy at the mouth of the Saint John River.

  • Always Visit
Where the Saint John River empties into the Bay of Fundy lie a series of rapids known as the Reversing Falls. During high tide, the water in the bay forces the rapids to flow upstream, hence their name.
Standard Hotel: Holiday Inn or similar

Day 2 Shediac - Prince Edward Island(45 miles)

In the morning we will head to Shediac, NB before continuing across the Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island. There, we will see the Anne of Green Gables Museum and Cavendish Beach. Dinner will feature fresh lobster!

Kensington is a town located 15 kilometres northeast of Summerside in Prince County, Prince Edward Island, Canada. The area was first known as Five Lanes End, as roads from five different communities converged at the point.

  • Always Visit
This house in Prince Edward Island National Park served as the inspiration for the famous L.M. Montgomery story Anne of Green Gables. Visitors to the museum can learn about the author and explore areas mentioned in the book.
  • Always Visit
Cavendish Beach is a quaint seaside community on Prince Edward Island packed with family entertainment: a "Haunted Mansion" themed amusement park, black-light mini-golf, deep-sea fishing and sailing, several antique shops, and the annual Cavendish Beach Music Festival.

Day 3 Charlottetown - Moncton(177 miles)

Before leaving PEI, we will stop in Charlottetown, PE. We will then go back to New Brunswick to visit Moncton, NB and the Magnetic Hill. In the afternoon we will visit the Hopewell Rocks. We we return to St. John for the night.

Moncton is a Canadian city located in Westmorland County in southeastern New Brunswick. Situated in the Petitcodiac River Valley, Moncton lies at the geographic centre of the Maritime Provinces. The city's skyline however encompasses many buildings and structures with varying architectural styles from many periods.

  • Always Visit
The Hopewell Rocks are a unique series of rock formations caused by tidal erosion. They are located on the shores of the Bay of Fundy in Hopewell Cape, New Brunswick. The area is also known for its wildlife.
  • Always Visit
This unique stretch of road in New Brunswick is home to a convincing optical illusion. Because of the obstruction of the horizon, cars appear to roll up this "magnetic hill," and must accelerate 'down' it.

Had a great time on this tour. The driver (Mike) and guide (Victor) did a wonderful job balancing the needs and wants of our small group. It had the feel of a family vacation. Saw many interesting sites. Looking forward to take an other tour from them.

I have been with Sunshine travel many years with many trips in the east coast but this trip to P.E.I. was excellent. With a small bus was driven by Mike and guided by Victor Chen, we were treated like on a family trip. They were so nice, knowledgeable, fair in treating among people. At the end of the trip, we were even asking Victor to guide us on the tour to Tennessee - Smoky Mountain. I hope that all trips will be like this trip. Thanks to Mike and Victor for making the trip was unerasable.
