Day 1 Boston-Cape Cod-Boston(119 miles)

Autumn is a special time in Cape Cod, MA. Summer's warmth still lingers, yet the multicolored splendor of New England's foliage offers a superb accent to the already beautiful vistas of the magical land south of Boston. After crossing the Cape Cod Canal, we'll stop in Hyannisport, where we'll visit a memorial to President John F. Kennedy. We join a lectured sightseeing cruise of Hyannis Harbor, which offers the best possible view of the Kennedy Compound.

Enjoy lunch on your own before arriving at the Sandwich Glass Museum. The museum exhibits nearly 5,000 pieces of glass produced at the Boston & Sandwich Glass Company between 1825 and 1888. You can watch a 20 minute glass blowing demonstration that is truly enthralling.

A geographic cape extending into the Atlantic Ocean from the southeastern corner of mainland Massachusetts, in the northeastern United States. Its historic, maritime character and ample beaches attract heavy tourism during the summer months.

This quaint little museum in the Hyannis section of Cape Cod, MA houses a collection of videos and photographs that document John F. Kennedy and his family's time there. In the basement is the local baseball hall of fame.
