Day 1 Barcelona - Montserrat Mountains - Sitges - Barcelona

After pickup in Barcelona, we will drive on a comfortable bus to the famous Torres Wine Cellars in the heart of Penedes. Afterwards, we will continue to the mountain of Montserrat, where we will visit the Royal Basilica of Montserrat, which houses the famous statue of the Black Madonna, and the Benedictine monastery. Here, we will have about 3 hours to explore and enjoy lunch. We can ever sample the liquors handmade by the local monks. We can also visit the museum, explore the Santa Cova Funicular, or just walk along the trails of the mountain. Afterwards, we will depart for Sitges to see the beautiful Catalan coast. Later on, guests will be returned to Barcelona.

This gorgeous Spanish city on the Mediterranean is one of the world's most popular tourists destinations due to its rich cultural heritage. Visitors can see medieval buildings or admire modernity at the Museum of Contemporary Art.

  • Always Visit
A very short trip outside of Barcelona will bring visitors to Montserrat, a mountain nearby the city. Perfect hiking trails wind their way over the broad mountain. A beautiful Benedictine Abbey was built amongst these peaks.
