Day 1 Barcelona - Montserrat Mountains - Sitges - Barcelona
After pickup in Barcelona, we will drive on a comfortable bus to the famous Torres Wine Cellars in the heart of Penedes. Afterwards, we will continue to the mountain of Montserrat, where we will visit the Royal Basilica of Montserrat, which houses the famous statue of the Black Madonna, and the Benedictine monastery. Here, we will have about 3 hours to explore and enjoy lunch. We can ever sample the liquors handmade by the local monks. We can also visit the museum, explore the Santa Cova Funicular, or just walk along the trails of the mountain. Afterwards, we will depart for Sitges to see the beautiful Catalan coast. Later on, guests will be returned to Barcelona.
This gorgeous Spanish city on the Mediterranean is one of the world's most popular tourists destinations due to its rich cultural heritage. Visitors can see medieval buildings or admire modernity at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
A very short trip outside of Barcelona will bring visitors to Montserrat, a mountain nearby the city. Perfect hiking trails wind their way over the broad mountain. A beautiful Benedictine Abbey was built amongst these peaks.

Entrance to the audio visual exhibition in Montserrat "Espai Audio visual Montserrat". The exhibition is based on three fundamental pillars: mountain, monastery and sanctuary. It explains to its visitors the history, natural creation and significance of this pilgrimage site.
Entrance and guided visit in Torres Wine Cellars. Tasting of two glasses of wine.
Brunch at Cellars in a special & private saloon including Coca bread with cold meats and cheese, Porro and bacon quiche, Ham croquette & Pita bread with fresh vegetable salad & cheese.
Guided walking tour in Sitges.

Proper dress code is requested to enter the Basilica at Montserrat. It is not permitted to enter with tank tops, strapless shirts, short shorts or sandals.
Please be aware that some walking is included during this tour, please come prepared and we recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes.
At Montserrat there is a mountains climate, depending on the season you will need clothes protecting you from the rain and/or cold.
