Day 1 Barcelona

Today, we will experience Barcelona by visiting the magnificent Sagrada Familia. Barcelona is known as the capital of Modernism, the place where Gaudi, one of the greatest innovators of his time, left behind numerous architectural wonders. The Sagrada Familia is one of the most visited buildings in the world, but we will have the chance to visit before it gets too crowded. We will marvel at the church's ornate interior decorations and masterful design. Afterwards, we will travel down the Avenida Gaudi through the Eixample district until we reach Sant Pau, a jewel of Catalan modernism design by Lluis Domenech i Montaner. We will explore this former hospital floor-to-floor and learn more about the site?s history and design.

This gorgeous Spanish city on the Mediterranean is one of the world's most popular tourists destinations due to its rich cultural heritage. Visitors can see medieval buildings or admire modernity at the Museum of Contemporary Art.

  • Always Visit
Designed by Antoni Gaudi, Barcelona's most famous architect, construction of the Sagrada Familia began in 1882 and continues to this day, a perfect synthesis of the 19th-century Gothic and 20th-century Modernist styles, a blend of religion and fantasy.
