Day 1 Barcelona

This tour will begin after guests have been picked up from the specified departure location. We will begin by driving up the elegant Passeig de Gracia, where we will see some of the most famous houses designed by the celebrated artist Gaudi, the Casa Batllo and the Casa Mila, as well as other majestic buildings from the Modernist era. Then, we will head to the seafront to admire the intense changes the city underwent to organize the 1992 Olympic Games. We will continue to Montjuic, where we can take a cable car ride that provides elegant views of the entire city, and also see the athletic facilities constructed for the Olympics, such as the Lluis Companys Stadium, the Palau Sant Jordi, and the Picornell swimming pool. We will also get to see the Spanish Village, an interesting open-air museum. After that, we will go back to the city center, arriving at the Plaza de Catalunya, where the tour will come to an end in front of the Hard Rock Caf. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

This gorgeous Spanish city on the Mediterranean is one of the world's most popular tourists destinations due to its rich cultural heritage. Visitors can see medieval buildings or admire modernity at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
