Day 1 Auckland - Waitomo - Matamata - Rotorua (L/D) (299 km)
In the morning, we will first take boat to the Waitomo Caves. Then we will go to visit Hobbiton Movie Set. In the early evening, we will have dinner in Rotorua and then you can enjoy Polynesian natural hot springs at your expense.
Waitomo can be translated as the 'stream which flows into the hole in the ground'. This meaning is reflected through its fantastic geological history and landscape.
Combine your experience with Ruakuri Cave, see glowworms up close and descend a spectacular spiral entrance. In Aranui Cave be mesmerised by ornate cave decorations also the underground Black Water Rafting.

The Party Tree is a large, beautiful tree famous for its appearance in The Lord of the Rings film franchise. This enormous tree is located in a scenic meadow at the south end of Hobbiton and is the location of one of Bilbo Baggins famous speeches.
The Green Dragon Inn's circular blue door is instantly recognizable as a featured landmark in The Lord of the Rings film franchise. This quirky, famous pub hosts private tours and offers guests traditional Hobbit foods and beverages inspired by the movies.

Day 2 Rotorua - Auckland (B/L) (180 km)
Today we will first go to the Agrodome. Then we will move to the Tamiki Maori Village and see the Te Puia. In the end we will back to Auckland.
