Starting from
Syntagma Square, we will admire the illuminated
Greek Parliament building, descend down the lively
Amalias Avenue, admire the
temple of Olympian Zeus and
Arch of Hadrian. We will walk through the scenic
Plaka neighborhood, admire the illuminated
Tower of the Winds.
Walking towards Monastiraki, find yourselves at the oldest square in Athens. You will get the chance to check out the street performers and admire the monuments of the square; the impressive Hadrian's Library & the characteristic Tzistarakis Mosque. Follow down Adrianou Str. and see the Ancient Market and the Stoa of Attalos. Learn about the mythology behind the Areopagus, where the supreme court of ancient Athens used to be.
Finishing up our tour, we will wander around the alleys of Psirri, drink traditional Greek liquors or wine and savour authentic Greek mezedes dinner.
