We will begin our tour in the Wadi Mujib, JO nature reserve, the lowest in the world. It lies in a deep valley holding some of Jordan's most breathtaking scenery. We will hike for about 2 hours on the Siq Trail, negotiating waterfalls and climbing rocks along the way!
From there we will head to Kerak Castle. Its diverse history dates back to the Byzantine period. Our day ends in Wadi Rum, Jordan's largest desert and one of the most spectacular desert landscapes in the world.
It is a nature reserve, the lowest in the world. It is Jordan's most famous river canyon, located in a deep valley holding some of Jordan's most breathtaking scenery.
It is a city in Jordan and built on a small, steep-walled butte. It is the town in Bible named Qir-hareseth. It was one of the capitals of ancient Moab. It is well known for its Kerak Castle, a crusader castle.
Kerak Castle is one of the largest crusader castles in the Levant. When standing in the castle, guests would see breathtaking views. There is lots of history waiting for you behind the castle.
Day 2 Wadi Rum - Aqaba - Amman (321 km)
In the morning we will explore the desert around Wadi Rum by jeep for 4 hours. This is a stupendous, timeless place, virtually untouched by humanity and its destructive forces. We will see Nabataen inscriptions, Lawrence's Cave, Rock Bridge, and some of the most beautiful sand dunes in the world. From there, we will travel to Aqaba, JO for a sunset cruise, snorkeling, and dinner After, we will return to Amman.
It inscribed as a mixed natural and cultural site, features a varied desert landscape consisting of a range of narrow gorges, natural arches, towering cliffs, ramps, massive landslides and caverns.
Aqaba is the only coastal city of Jordan. The city's strategic location, at the northeastern tip of the Red Sea, has been historically significant for centuries and today, the port plays a primary role in the kingdom's economy.
Departure & Return
Complimentary hotel pick-up and drop-off from most hotels in Amman, Dead Sea or Madaba. Pick up time will be reconfirmed (usually between 8:00am and 10:00am). Please advise pick-up hotel at time of booking and call upon arrival in Amman, Dead Sea or Madaba to reconfirm pick-up time.

Booking changes: A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees: Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Cancellation penalties per person for Day Trips (duration of 24 hrs or less): Up to 8 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
3-7 days prior to departure - 20% of total purchase amount.
Within 2 days prior to departure and no show the day of the services day or after- 100% of total purchase amount.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee.
Cancellation penalties per person for Short Tours: Up to 46 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
16-45 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Less then 15 days prior to departure - 75% of total purchase amount.

There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
Itinerary Variations: We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation: We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
