Day 1 Xian

Today we arrive in Xi'an, the great ancient capital and eastern end of the Silk Road. Here we will tour the ancient Fortification of Xian (commonly referred to as the City Wall of Xian) which was built in 1370 A.D. In the afternoon, we will also visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in 652 A.D.

With a recorded history dating back to before the tenth century BC, Xian is one of the oldest cities in both and the world. It is home to historic buildings, museums, tombs, monuments, national parks, and much more.

    Also known as the City Wall of Xi'an, this fortification dates back to 194BCE and measures 13.74 kilometers long. Tourists can explore the ancient site, learning about its rich history from a local, knowledgeable guide.

    Built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is an ancient Buddhist temple and must-see tourist attraction. Standing 54 meters (177 feet) tall, this sacred building is a beautiful representation of ancient architecture, tradition, and history.

Day 2 Xian

Today we will embark on a full-day excursion in Xian, beginning with a tour of the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor in China. Next, we will visit the Huaqing Hot Spring. If time permits, we will also visit a nearby factory that manufactures replicas of artifacts found within the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang.

    The Tomb of Qin Shi Huang (commonly referred to as the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor) is a fascinating sight. Experience the extensive necropolis that mimics the emperor's palace, as well as the famous Terracotta Warriors and other artifacts.

    Located at the northern foot of Mount Li, the Huaqing Hot Springs was historically reserved for emperors and their royal family. Today, visitors can experience the serenity of these natural hot pools and enjoy scenic views for themselves.

Day 3 Xian

Today we will enjoy a full-day excursion in Xian. We will first visit the Shaanxi History Museum, then tour the Bell Tower and the neighboring square in the city's center. Finally, we will tour the Great Mosque in Xian within the Muslim Quarter.

    Built in 1384 during the Ming Dynasty, the Bell Tower of Xian is one of the most recognizable structures in the city. Standing at nearly 40 meters tall, the Bell Tower is as legendary as it is beautiful.

    This renowned mosque was established in 742, though the current structure is a bit more recent than that. Instead of the traditional minaret, this mosque utilizes a Chinese pavilion.
