Well.....We were the only Anglo couple on this tour. We're not bi-lingual at all (Chinese), but most of the other tourists knew at least a little English and were very nice. Thanks to our tour guide, Phillip, we were able to enjoy the tour in all its aspects as much as the others. Thanks to him, we also were able to see things and have experiences (a jet-boat ride on the Niagara River) that were not originally listed in our itinerary. There were several others on the tour that relied on English for their communications and these folks were from India. I hope this company attracts more anglos in the future. It's a great opportunity to mix and learn a little about each other.

I recommend this tour!

Tour guide: He was very kind and tried to be helpful. He tried his best to convey the messages as clear as possible to the big group of tourists from different cultures. Sometimes it was a little difficult to understand his English, but generally it was understandable. Accommodation: Hotel rooms were clean and comfortable but we had to stay in New Jersey and travel from New Jersey to New York. Transportation: We changed buses and drivers several times during the trips. One driver was very professional and the others were okay. Long distance bus was in good condition but the bus we took between New Jersey and New York for several days was not good. Since the group shared only one vehicle, so you would go to many different airports in different cities to drop people at the airports and several people had to go to the airports early. Itinerary was changed compared the published on this website but in general it was okay. Please note that travelers joined and left groups frequently. The groups of participants changed. Improvement suggestion: Provide better vehicles for transportation and to meet with the need for airport drop off. Better matching times to optional tours at the visiting places such as tours at the Cathedral of St John ($8/adult at 11:00AM) and Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum (free at 1:30PM). In general, it was a good tour.
