    7:00 - 7:20 AMPick-up from West Oakland Bart Station pickup (if necessary).
    7:20 - 7:40 AMPick-up from Dublin/Pleasanton Bart Station pickup (if necessary).
    7:40 - 9:00 AMContinue east, and you will see the windmills and descend into the San Joaquin valley and stop for a break and a snack.
    9:15 - 11:00 AMBegin the drive into the foothills, through gold country, and up into the Sierra Nevada range and Yosemite National Park.
    11:00 - 1:00 PMExplore Yosemite's many amazing sights with an informative narrated valley tour from your guide. OR weather permitting* drive to the trail for a hike (two mile roundtrip hike) to the Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias. This stop is dependent on snow levels and trail conditions from October to May.     3:30 - 4:00 PMStart the return trip, descending from the Sierras, with more great scenery as we follow the sun to the west.
    4:00 - 6:00 PMStop for a break, a stretch, and a bite to eat.

Day 1 Bay Area - Yosemite National Park - Bay Area(194 miles)

Passengers will be picked up at Bay Area hotels in the early morning. Today we will first head to Yosemite National Park, home of sights such as El Capitan and the Half Dome. In the afternoon, we will drive to a special hiking trail in the park and have a chance to see some Giant Sequoias. At about 3:30pm, we will return to the Bay Area.

Winter Months Note: The Giant Sequoias hike depends on snow levels and trail conditions from October to April, so the route and itinerary may be changed due to snow depth, road conditions, construction projects and detours and it cannot be guaranteed.

Yosemite National Park in central California is best known for the amazing granite cliffs of the Yosemite Valley as well as the towering Yosemite Falls and Sequoias. Millions of people every year journey to this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 2 San Francisco

In the morning, guests should make their way to Pier 33. From there, we will board the ferry to Angel Island, home of the famous Alcatraz prison. Included in our exploration is a special audio tour in addition to some free time to explore the island before we take the ferry back to the mainland. San Francisco, the heart of central California's Bay Area, is famous for its iconic Golden Gate Bridge, its unique culture, and its position at the forefront of technological innovation. Beautiful weather and waterfront views await visitors as well!
