Day 1 San Francisco-Yosemite National Park-Sequoia National Park(260 miles)

This Yosemite 1-Day Tour maximizes the time you spend in Yosemite National Park by starting early and traveling efficiently in a 15 Passenger Van or mini-bus.  This is the only Yosemite Tour that enables you to cover both the Yosemite Valley & the Giant Sequoias in one day.  We will also spend more than 5 hours inside Yosemite National Park, more than any other single Yosemite day tour from in San Francisco.

When going through Yosemite Valley, we'll stop to see El Capitan, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, Bridalveil Falls, Inspiration Point (otherwise known as Tunnel View), and Yosemite Village. After a 1 hour lunch break at the Yosemite Lodge, we'll drive to a higher altitude and to a lesser traveled part of the national park.

Here, we'll stop beneath the Giant Sequoia Tree Grove and see the world's largest living organisms.  After a 2 mile (1 mile each way) hike to see the Giant Sequoia Trees, and a full day in the fresh Yosemite air, we'll finally head back to San Francisco, where our bus will drop travelers off at directly at their hotel.

Winter Months Note: The Giant Sequoias hike depends on snow levels and trail conditions from October to April, so the route and itinerary may be changed due to snow depth, road conditions, construction projects and detours and it cannot be guaranteed.

Road Closure Alert BEFORE JUNE 15, 2017: A road closure of Hwy 120 has made road to Giant Sequoias inaccessible from the valley. We expect the road to be repaired soon. Please contact us for updates.

Our tour guide was Denise. She was very friendly, sharing cultures, histories with us about California and the route we were travelling, understanding our needs. We did not feel bored not even a single minute in our 6 -7 hours journey. Unfortunately, we did not go to Giant Sequoias since there were construction going on.

We consider that the bus and the guide weren't good enough. The bus is not as comfortable as we pretend for a long trip, and, We know we took a tour in English language, but, We consider the guide could talk slower for our best understanding of the comments.

I recommend this tour!

The tour itself was really nice: driver, bus etc. I was a little upset the Sequoya trees were not available at that time of the year due to snow. (March). Who knew ? But I would like to mention that the bus was 40 mins late for a pick up at the hotel. Also, I made 1 reservation for me for $157, another for my friend, but for $149. But it tuned out to be the same tour on the same bus.

I recommend this tour!
