This was a great tour package. The shuttle picked us up promptly at the designated hotel in the morning, and the tour started on time. The central office is located in a crowded and tourist-friendly area of San Francisco (the wharf) so if you've got dead time, there are plenty of things to do. While the tour guide/driver was informative and pointed out great sights, sometimes he went "off script" and occasionally inserted some trivia or social commentary. Otherwise we hit all the hot spots fine (Golden Gate Bridge, etc.) and took great pictures. The downside is that because of traffic conditions, we were late returning to the wharf, and missed our scheduled bay cruise. Luckily they left every hour and our tickets worked on any departure so we were able to have a seafood snack, board the next cruise, and get back on time. All in all, a great deal with a few twists and a happy outcome!
