Day 1 San Francisco

Today we will gather in San Francisco. Guests should make their way to the hotel and check in by themselves.

Day 2 San Francisco - Napa Valley/Muir Woods - San Francisco(101 miles)

Tour option A: Sonoma and Napa Valley Wine Country tour at 8:30. Across the Golden Gate Bridge visit the historic square in Sonoma. Time for lunch on your own. Then to Napa Valley. Visit two or three wineries. Return to the city via Oakland Bay Bridge.

Tour option B: Muir Woods and Sausalito tour at 8:30. Across the Golden Gate Bridge visit Giant Redwood trees in Muir Woods. On to Sausalito a Mediterranean type village. Return by Ferry boat or motor coach. Dinner tonight at Italian restaurant.

Day 3 San Francisco - Monterey (Dinner and Breakfast Included)(86 miles)

We will leave San Francisco around 9:00 a.m. Driving via Half Moon Bay or through Silicon Valley to Castroville. We will see miles of artichoke and strawberry fields with beautiful views of Monterey Bay. By midday stop at Cannery Row allowing time for lunch. Then we will drive along the seaside flower gardens of Pacific Grove to 17 Mile Drive. After a stop at Pebble Beach, we will continue to Carmel by the Sea the idyllic village with its art galleries and cottages set in Pine trees. We will arrive at hotel by 5:30pm.

Monterey was the capital of Alta California under both Spain and Mexico. It was the only port of entry for taxable goods in California. In 1846 the U.S. flag was raised over the Customs House, and California became part of the United States after the ensuing Mexican-American War.

Our morning will be spent en route from Monterey to Paso Robles, CA. Upon our arrival in the mid-afternoon, we will take a short wine tour of the area.

Day 5 Paso Robles - San Simeon - Los Angeles(238 miles)

In the morning we will drive to San Simeon, CA to visit the impressive Hearst Castle. After some free time and a complimentary picnic lunch, we will head to San Luis Obispo to catch a train to Los Angeles, CA. We will arrive at night and be transferred to our hotel.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

Hotels listed for each tour may change due to special events, conventions or other reasons beyond our control.

Meals when included are with a choice of menu. Dinner includes soup or salad, main course, dessert and coffee, milk or tea. Wine, bar beverages, appetizers or fancy desserts are at extra cost to you. Vegetarian, Kosher or other diets can not be guaranteed but you can order appropriate items.

Baggage checked with us is brought to and from the hotel rooms in Monterey and Solvang on the Cypress tour. In case of loss, our maximum liability is $500.00 or repairs up to $50.00 for damage other than normal wear and tear. Baggage handling is not included for Yosemite tours.

Cancellations and refunds
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours through web mail at Contact Us. Your refund request will be answered and processed promptly. If you do not receive any reply within 2 business days, that means your request is not received successfully; thus, the tour status remains "confirmed". Please contact us immediately at 617.354.2101.

Cancellation penalties per person as follows; there is 6% handling fee of refund amount.(Notification day and departure day are not counted)

Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

Tour Cancellation
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements (e.g. minimum number of passengers) or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
