Day 1 San Francisco - Monterey (Dinner and Breakfast Included)(86 miles)

We will leave San Francisco around 9:00 a.m. Driving via Half Moon Bay or through Silicon Valley to Castroville. We will see miles of artichoke and strawberry fields with beautiful views of Monterey Bay. By midday stop at Cannery Row allowing time for lunch. Then we will drive along the seaside flower gardens of Pacific Grove to 17 Mile Drive. After a stop at Pebble Beach, we will continue to Carmel by the Sea the idyllic village with its art galleries and cottages set in Pine trees. We will arrive at hotel by 5:30pm.

Monterey was the capital of Alta California under both Spain and Mexico. It was the only port of entry for taxable goods in California. In 1846 the U.S. flag was raised over the Customs House, and California became part of the United States after the ensuing Mexican-American War.

Day 2 Monterey - Paso Robles (Breakfast Include)(95 miles)

At 10:15 Sal's taxi (prepaid) will transfer guests to Salinas Train Station. AMTRAK Train # 11 Coast Starlight will leave at 11:48, just in time for lunch going through Salinas Valley, center of Monterey County's agricultural region by the river and small towns, fields of lettuce, broccoli and acres of green houses. Around King City we will see miles of newly planted vineyards where just a few years ago there was only cattle pasture. The oil fields will appear and then the military installations at Camp Roberts. Passing Mission San Miguel we will reach Paso Robles at 1:38. The hotel car will take guests to Paso Robles Inn for overnight stay.

Day 3 Paso Robles - San Simeon - San Luis Obispo - Los Angeles(242 miles)

Today we will depart from Paso Robles to Hearst Castle. We will have a 2-hour tour of Hearst Castle, see the movie "Building the Dream", enjoy a picnic lunch and stop for shopping or visit a winery. Then we will continue to San Luis Obispo and board The Coast Starlight at 3:20pm. From Pismo Beach to Pt. Arguello through restricted Vandenberg Air Force Base see launch pads for the space rockets and then some of the most scenic ocean views. At about 9:00pm we will arrive in Los Angeles at the Union Station. Taxicabs to downtown locations cost about $20, twice as much to Hollywood, West Los Angeles, and Beverly Hills. To the Los Angeles International Airport Fly Away bus leaves every half hour, takes about 45 minutes cost only $7. Going further south Surfliner 596 reaches Anaheim at 10:51pm.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

Hotels listed for each tour may change due to special events, conventions or other reasons beyond our control.

Meals when included are with a choice of menu. Dinner includes soup or salad, main course, dessert and coffee, milk or tea. Wine, bar beverages, appetizers or fancy desserts are at extra cost to you. Vegetarian, Kosher or other diets can not be guaranteed but you can order appropriate items.

Baggage checked with us is brought to and from the hotel rooms in Monterey and Solvang on the Cypress tour. In case of loss, our maximum liability is $500.00 or repairs up to $50.00 for damage other than normal wear and tear. Baggage handling is not included for Yosemite tours.

Cancellations and refunds
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours through web mail at Contact Us. Your refund request will be answered and processed promptly. If you do not receive any reply within 2 business days, that means your request is not received successfully; thus, the tour status remains "confirmed". Please contact us immediately at 617.354.2101.

Cancellation penalties per person as follows; there is 6% handling fee of refund amount.(Notification day and departure day are not counted)

Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

Tour Cancellation
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements (e.g. minimum number of passengers) or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
