Day 2 Rio de Janeiro

Today, we will enjoy taking a private half-day tour up Corcovado, the mountain in the middle of Rio. After we have left our hotels, we will drive through some of the oldest parts of the city. We will board the Corcovado Rack Railway, a train that traverses the jungle to take us to the peak of the mountain. When we reach the summit, we will see the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue, the most recognizable symbol of the city and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Afterwards, we will return to the main city to spend the rest of the day at our own leisure.

Usually referred to simply as "Rio," this Brazilian coastal city is famous for its annual Carnival celebration. Rio de Janeiro sees millions of tourists every year, more than any other South American city.

  • Always Visit
The name of this mountain is Portuguese for "hunchback," a reference to the lopsided shape. At the peak lies the Christ the Redeemer statue, the most iconic symbol of Rio de Janeiro.
  • Always Visit
This train uses the traditional rack system, a special wheel designed for trains to travel uphill, in order to reach the peak of Corcovado in Rio. It carries passengers from the city below to Christ the Redeemer at the summit.
  • Always Visit
This statue is, above all else, the main symbol of Rio de Janeiro. Built on the top of Corcovado, a mountain that hovers above the city, the statue depicts Christ with his arms extended in a welcoming gesture.

Day 4 Iguazu Falls

Today, we will spend the morning discovering Argentina's most spectacular natural phenomenon: the thrilling Iguazu Falls. Over the course of the day, we will take an ecological train ride to the impressive fall known as Devil's Throat. We will also get the chance to hike around the area and see both the upper and lower parts of the falls. In the afternoon, we will return to our hotel and have the remainder of the day to relax at our own leisure.

  • Always Visit
When she first saw the falls, Eleanor Roosevelt reportedly exclaimed, "Poor Niagara!" Indeed, the spectacular Iguazu Falls are three times the size of New York's Niagara Falls. Located on the border of Brazil and Argentina, Iguazu is an experience.
    Opening Hours: 8:00am - 6:00pm
  • Always Visit
One of the many waterfalls that make up the Iguassu Falls on the border between Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay, the Devil's Throat is a U-shaped chasm through which the majority of the water in the falls flows.
