Day 1: Madrid

As guests arrive at the Madrid airport, they will transfer to the local hotel to rest before we begin our tour.

Day 2: Madrid

In the morning, we will take a panoramic sightseeing tour of Madrid. We will begin by discovering the medieval origins at places like the Arabic Fortress and Barrio de la Moreria. Then, we will drive through the courtesan district of the Hapsburgs, characterized by the Renaissance and Baroque architecture of areas like the Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Plaza de la Villa.We will also see the Royal Palace, Cibeles Fountain, Neptuno Fountain, Puerta de Alcala and the Prado Museum. Then, we will see more contemporary elements of the city, such as Gran Via, CastellanaSalamanca District, Plaza Castilla, Parque del Oeste. We will also see more commercial and financial areas, as well as Las Ventanas Bullring and the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. We will enjoy a free drink in the Hard Rock Café before having the afternoon free to explore at our own leisure.

    Puerta del Sol

    The Puerta del Sol is the central point of Spain's radial network of streets, with a plaque marking it as "Kilometer Zero", and one of the busiest parts of the city.

    Royal Palace of Madrid

    This Baroque palace is the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family, although it is only used for state functions. Built in 1738, the palace is nearly 1.5 million square-feet, and contains paintings by many European greats.

    Fountain of Cibeles

    Fountain of Cibeles
    The centerpiece of the plaza that bears the same name, the Fountain of Cibeles features a statue of an ancient Phrygian goddess sitting atop a lion-drawn chariot, who has been adopted as a symbol of the city of Madrid.

    Puerta de Alcala

    This monument is designed in the neo-Classical style, and stands near Madrid's city center, reminiscent of the old medieval gates to the city, although this gate stands alone.

    Prado Museum

    Prado Museum
    The main national art museum of Spain, this facility is lovated in Central Madrid and features one of the world's finest collections of European art dating from the 12th century to the early 19th.

    Gran Via

    The Gran Via, oftentimes referred to as "The Spanish Broadway," is a central avenue in Madrid with some of the finest shops in the city, not to mention one of the most active nightlife scenes of any European city.

    Paseo de la Castellana

    La Castellana is a wide avenue that cuts North-to-South through the very center of Madrid, one of the city's busiest streets, and home to some of its most famous buildings including the Puerta de Europa and the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

    Plaza de Castilla

    Along the Paseo de la Castellana lies the Plaza de Castilla, a large public square and convergence point for some of the Madrid's busiest streets. At its center lies the Caja Madrid Obelisk and the Puerta de Europa towers are on its north end.

    Las Ventas

    Las Ventas is considered the home of bullfighting in Spain, constructed in 1929 after the sport had risen to high prominence. In addition to bullfighting, the venue also plays host to tennis matches and live concerts, such as Radiohead.

    Santiago Bernabeu Stadium

    Home of legendary Real Madrid Club de Futbol, perhaps the most famous sports team in the world, the stadium was opened in 1947 and is the second-largest of any European soccer team, behind only arch-rivals Barcelona's Camp Nou.

Day 3: Madrid - Cordoba - Sevilla (447 km)

After breakfast at our hotel, we will transfer to the bus terminal to depart to the La Mancha region, the land of Don Quixote. Along the way, we will pass exquisite vineyards. When we reach the region of Andalucia, we will travel to Cordoba, where we will take a tour of the impressive Mosque-Cathedral and Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, we will drive to Sevilla, where we will enjoy dinner and check into to a hotel.

    Cordoba is a city in Andalusia, Spain, and the capital of the province of Cordoba. The city is located on the banks of the Guadalquivir river, and its easy access to the mining resources of the Sierra Morena satisfies the population's needs.

    Jewish Quarter

    Cordoba's Jewish Quarter is marked by narrow and irregular streets. It houses a medieval Synagogue and the Sephardic House. Unfortunately, this neighborhood was a focal point of the Spanish Inquisition, during which Cordoba played a large role.

    The Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba

    The interior of this dual mosque-cathedral perfectly reflects the religious power-struggle of medieval Spain. The conversion of the church into a mosque lasted from 784 to 987. The complex is massive and features many small chapels.

Day 4: Seville

Today, we will go on a sightseeing tour around Seville, visiting the Cathedral, which is the second largest Catholic church in the world after St. Peter's Basilica in Rome; we will also see the Santa Cruz Quarter, Maria Luisa Park and the Plaza de Espana. We will be able to spend the afternoon at our own leisure or take an optional Flamenco tour.

    The third-largest church in the world (and the largest cathedral), the Seville is a massive Gothic building. Each of its facades has multiple entrances that are all exquisitely and ornately adorned. It was built over an old mosque.

    Santa Cruz (Jewish Quarter)

    The barrio of Santa Cruz in Sevilla was once the city's Jewish Quarter, and is now the most popular tourist are in the city. The narrow, winding streets and alleyways of this neighborhood remind visitors of a labyrinth.

    Parque de Maria Luisa

    On the riverbanks of Sevilla, Maria Luisa Park is a large public area that features lovely foliage, fountains, and walkways in the middle of this beautiful city. Within the park are many statues of famous Spanish figures.

    Plaza de Espana

    A large section of Maria Luisa Park in Sevilla, the Plaza de Espana is a large open space featuring buildings of Renaissance revival architecture. Most of the buildings are currently used for government purposes.

Day 5: Sevilla - Granada (249 km)

After breakfast at our hotel, we will leave Sevilla by driving along the Caliphate road, passing endless olive trees, on our way to Granada, where we will visit the world famous Alhambra and Generalife Gardens. Later on, guests will be able to enjoy an optional Gypsy Flamenco Show in the Sacromonte Quarter.

    Generalife

    Built in the 14th century as the summer palace of Nasrid Emirs of Grananda, the name of this palace means "Architect's Garden" for the extensive gardens on its grounds, which are world renowned for their exquisite beauty.

Day 6: Granada - Valencia (497 km)

After breakfast at the hotel start driving looking for the Mediterranean coast. Via Murcia, capital of the fertile garden of the Segura river, continue north via Alicante, the second largest city within the autonomous region land of Valencia. Reach Valencia one of the main capitals of the Mediterranean coast with its modern Arts and Sciences Architectural Complex integrated by six elements: Hemispheric, Umbracle, Science Museum, Oceanographic, Palau de les Arts and Ágora. Valencia is also the home of the internationally well renowned and delicious "Paella", Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 7: Valencia - Barcelona (303 km)

Today, we will take a morning sightseeing tour of Valencia, driving through the old city to see some of its most prominent buildings. Driving by the riverbed of the Turia, we will see the avant-garde complex of the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. In the afternoon, we will depart north along the Mediterranean coast towards Barcelona.

Day 8: Barcelona

In the morning, we will take a sightseeing tour of Barcelona, well regarded for hosting the 1992 Olympic Games. We will drive along the city's main avenues, seeing impressive modernist buildings designed by Antoni Gaudi, like La Pedrera, Casa Mila, Montjuic Park, the Olympic Ring, the Columbus Monument and the Olympic Port. We will have the afternoon free to explore the city on our own.

    Columbus Monument

    Christopher Columbus is immortalized with a towering monument on Barcelona's famous walkway, La Rambla, depicting the famed explorer pointing out towards the sea. Visitors can take an elevator to the top, which offers a thrilling view of the city.

    Montjuic Hill

    Rising above the Barcelona's harbor is Montjuic Hill. Parks and gardens rest on this hill, converging with each other via winding paths carved into the hillside, along with a Greek amphitheater, various museums and the Olympic Park.
