Day 1 Los Angeles - Las Vegas(228 miles)

Passengers will be picked up in LA in the morning. Today we will drive from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, NV. Upon our arrival at night, guests will be able to explore the city as they please.

Day 2 Las Vegas(299 miles)

Today, guests may explore the city of Las Vegas, NV at their leisure. There are several optional excursions available for us: a day-trip to Death Valley; the Grand Canyon Celebration, a helicopter ride right into the bottom of the canyon; the Grand Canyon Deluxe package, which will focus on the upper rim of the canyon; a Las Vegas Night Tour, so we can see the magnificent lights of Sin City.

Today we will travel to Monterey, CA, named for the gorgeous Monterey Bay. From here, we will take the famous 17-Mile Drive along the bay to the coastal hamlet of Carmel, CA. Our day will end near Santa Maria, CA.

Monterey was the capital of Alta California under both Spain and Mexico. It was the only port of entry for taxable goods in California. In 1846 the U.S. flag was raised over the Customs House, and California became part of the United States after the ensuing Mexican-American War.
