Today we will gather in London. After checking in, guests are free to spend the rest of the day as they please.

Day 2 London

Today is a free day in magnificent London, England. A tour guide is on hand to assist guests in setting up activities.

The capital city of both England and the United Kingdom has been a focal point of Western civilization for centuries. This amazing city in the British Isles is famous for places like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and Westminster Abbey.

Day 3 London - York - Leeds(325 km)

In the morning we will meet up with the tour director and board the bus north. Our first stop will be in the town of York, UK, England's most complete medieval city, where we will take a walking tour. We will spend the night in Leeds, UK.

Day 4 Leeds - Northumberland National Park - Jedburgh - Melrose - Edinburgh(318 km)

Today, our first stop will be the southern tip of Northumberland National Park, where we will see Hadrian's Wall, an ancient Roman structure dating back nearly 2,000 years. We will then cross into Scotland, where we will stop at two centuries-old towns to see historic buildings: Jedburgh, UK and Melrose, UK. Our day ends in Edinburgh, UK, where guests are invited on an optional tour of the former Royal Yacht Britannia.

The northernmost national park in England, covering about a quarter of the county Northumberland. It covers an area of more than 1,030 square kilometres and is one of the least populated and least visited of the National Parks.

Jedburgh is a town and former royal burgh in the Scottish Borders and former county town of Roxburghshire. It is 10 miles from the border with England, and is dominated by the substantial ruins of Jedburgh Abbey.

Melrose is a small town and civil parish in the Scottish Borders, historically in Roxburghshire.

Day 5 Edinburgh

Today we will have a full day to experience Edinburgh, UK, the Scottish capital. Our morning tour will take us to the historic Old Town as well as famous Edinburgh Castle. In the afternoon, guests will have free time to explore at their leisure. At night, there is an optional dinner-and-show featuring Highland entertainment and food.

Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland, to the north of England in the United Kingdom. Learn about the area’s proud history at the National Museum of Scotland, and tour the Royal Yacht Britannia and Arthur’s Seat.

Day 6 Edinburgh - Gretna Green - Lake District National Park - Chester - Wrexham(507 km)

Our first stop of this busy day is the village of Gretna Green, UK, which is famous as a spot where runaway couples would elope. We will then leave Scotland and cross back into England to visit Lake District National Park, considered to be the country's most beautiful area. In the town of Chester, UK, we will take a walking tour of ancient Roman ruins. We will overnight in Wrexham, UK.

This Scottish village, right across the border from England, has grown quite a reputation for being a destination of runaway couples trying to get married. There are many lovely historical buildings in town.

Usually simply known as the "Lake District," this park in the northernmost area of the United Kingdom is home to nearly one hundred lakes. Its beauty has made it a popular vacation spot with people across the country.

A walled city in Cheshire, England. It has a number of medieval buildings, but some of the black-and-white buildings within the city centre are Victorian restorations.

In the morning we will visit picturesque Stratford-Upon-Avon, UK, the Birthplace of Shakespeare. From there, we will drive to the Welsh capital of Cardiff, making a brief stop along the way in the town of Broadway, UK.

    Believed to be the birthplace and childhood home of playwright William Shakespeare, this 16th-century house and museum has been called, "a Mecca for all lovers of literature." Shakespeare would have lived here from 1564 until about 1574.

Day 8 Cardiff - Bath - Amesbury - London(340 km)

Today we will travel to the town of Bath, UK in England, home of the famous Roman Baths. From there, we will head into the English countryside to visit the iconic Stonehenge and its new-and-improved visitor's center and museum. We will drive east to London for the night.

    The Roman Baths is an exceptionally well-preserved bathhouse built around a natural hotspring in antiquity. The first bathhouse there was built in about 890 BC (before Roman rule), though the current building dates to about 65 AD.

This world-famous prehistoric monument dates to between 3000 and 2000 BC. It is a UNESCO National Historic Site and one of the most recognizable icons of Britain in the world. It is thought to have been a burial site.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

Prices: All vacation prices are based on rates (reflecting foreign exchange rates) known at the time of publication and expected to be in effect at the time of departure, and do not include airfare except where noted. Vacation prices are per person, based on double occupancy. Single room supplements and triple and quad room reductions are listed where applicable. Not all accommodation types are available on all vacations.

Cancellation: Standard Cancellation Fees escorted and independent vacations: (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
  • 45 days prior to the commencement of services: $250 per person will be charged.
  • 45-22 days prior to commencement of services: 20% of total price* plus Travel Protection payments
  • 21-8 days prior to commencement of services: 30% of total price* plus Travel Protection payments
  • 7-1 days prior to commencement of services: 50% of total price* plus Travel Protection payments
  • On departure day and later: 100% of total price* plus Travel Protection payments
  • There is 6% handling fee on all the above refund amount.
  • Reservation Changes: A fee of $50 per transaction will be charged for any alteration or revision made to a reservation. A change of traveler name, vacation date, or itinerary within final payment will be treated as a full cancellation and new reservation; vacation cancellation fees (as above) apply.

    Contact Information: Passengers are responsible to ensure that operator Travel has the correctly spelled name, address, phone number, email and fax data for all passengers. Names printed on the invoice must exactly match the first and last name written in their passport (middle names or initials are not needed). Operator will not be responsible for passengers who do not receive documents due to inaccurate information.

    Passports and Visas: Passengers are responsible for obtaining and paying for all visas and entry documents, for meeting all health and other requirements, and for any documents required by the laws, regulations, orders, and/or requirements of the countries you will visit. Most countries require that the passport be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the conclusion of your trip. It is recommended you have a minimum of three blank pages in your passport when traveling, as many countries require blank pages. Multiple-entry visas are required for some vacations. It is your responsibility to verify all visa and passport requirements.

    Baggage Allowance: Due to limited motorcoach capacity, your single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30"x21"x11" and weight not exceeding 50lbs (22kg). We regret that we are unable to accept a second suitcase or any luggage exceeding these limits on any vacation listed in this brochure.

    Children: Travelers who are less than 18 years old on the departure date must be accompanied by an adult throughout the duration of the vacation. We do not accept children less than 8 years old.

    Travel Protection (Insurance): Comprehensive trip insurance is highly recommended by operator.

    Travelers with Disabilities: Tour participants requiring any form of assistance are required to notify operator in writing at the time of reservation, and must be accompanied by an individual responsible for providing those services. Tour managers, guides, drivers or other tour, hotel, ship personnel are not able to provide such assistance. Wheelchairs + Walkers: Due to physical constraints and space limitations, wheelchairs and walkers may not be taken aboard motor coaches and/or river cruise ships. Operator reserves the right to remove any person from a tour or cruise who has not provided the required notification, has not received written confirmation from operator, or does not comply with these regulations. All related expenses, including those to return home, will be borne by the passenger.

    Hotel Accommodations: The accommodations listed in the brochure or on the Web site are intended to be used on all departures; however, if a change becomes necessary for any reason, including additional departures on the same date, the accommodations substituted will be equivalent to those shown. Every effort is made to reserve only twin-bedded rooms. Occasionally, some hotels will only provide double-bedded rooms. These rooms will be allocated to couples. Please note that accommodation check-in times vary worldwide.

    Service Inquiries After the Vacation: Any complaint or claim involving the vacation services offered in this brochure or on the Web sites must be notified to the Company within 30 days of the tour completion, except where such time limitations are prohibited by law.

    As it is difficult and sometimes impossible to properly investigate a complaint if we are not advised of such complaint quickly, any compensation you may have been able to claim could be reduced or even forfeited if you do not follow the complaints procedure set out in this clause.

    RESPONSIBILITY: Operator and its representatives abroad act only as independent contractors acting on behalf of neither the customer nor the suppliers and principals. All exchange orders, coupons, and tickets, whether paper or electronic, are issued subject to the terms and conditions under which such means of transportation, accommodations, and other services are offered or provided. The issuance and acceptance of such documents shall be deemed to be consent to the further conditions. Operator does not own nor operate the hotels, motor coaches, airlines, cruise lines, or any other service providers which compose their tours, and will not be held responsible for changes and/or cancellations for any reason by airlines, hotels or cruise ships.

    The Travel Agent and/or Tour Operator, shall not be in any way liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity in any vehicle, or through the act of default of any company, or person engaged in conveying passengers, or of any hotel proprietor, personnel, servant or any other person otherwise in connection therewith. Operator shall not be held responsible for potential risks and hazards associated with travel to destinations included in this brochure, where injury, delay, or unanticipated events may occur. Operator shall not assume responsibility for standards of quality, hygiene, political stability, cuisine, sanitation facilities, diseases or viruses contracted while traveling for any cause, cleanliness, telecommunications facilities, methods of conducting business, emergency medical evacuation, treatment, or medical services found in these destinations. Travel to these areas may entail risks including but not limited to the hazards of traveling in politically unstable areas, civil disturbances, war, and arbitrary changes mandated by government authorities or private concerns. It is the responsibility of the passenger(s) to check with the U.S. State Department, Consular Information, click here for any current advisories and updates to the destinations on their itinerary. Operator shall be held harmless from any and all liability in connection with the foregoing. Operator cannot accept responsibility for loss or expense due to delay or changes in transportation schedule or other causes. Operator shall not be held responsible for potential loss of services due to inclement weather conditions.
