In the morning, guests will be picked up from the specified departure location in Lisbon to begin this tour. For the first leg of the day, we will take a few hours to discover the Portuguese capital, beginning by crossing the 25th April Bridge. Then we will see the Tower of Belem and the Monument to the Discoveries. Then, we will continue to the St. Jerome Monastery and the National Coach Museum (both of these attractions are closed on Mondays and will be replaced with a visit to Ajuda National Palace or the Medeiros and Almeida Museum). After this, we will venture to Alfama, an old district where we can walk the narrow streets and visit handicraft shops. In Baixa, the downtown district, we will admire places like Praca do Comercio, Rossio Square, and Restauradores Square. Then, we will finish at Pombal Square before breaking for lunch. After, we will leave Lisbon, heading to the Sanctuary at Fatima, where we will be able to see the Basilica and other holy sites. Once we have fully explored this sacred area, we will return to Lisbon, where the tour will come to an end upon our arrival. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.
