Day 1 Dead Sea Relaxation 1-Day from Jerusalem(70 km)

Guests will be picked up in the morning from Jerusalem and Tel Aviv hotels. We will begin the day by leaving Jerusalem, descending into the Judean Desert via the Inn of the Good Samaritan, a 19th century Turkish building that now houses a mosaic museum that contains many artifacts from important Jewish, Samaritan, and Christian sites throughout Israel. On our way to the Dead Sea, we will stop briefly for a scenic view of the city of Jericho.

Then, we will continue our descent to the sea, until we reach an elevation of 400 meters below sea level, making the Dead Sea the lowest place on Earth. We will spend the day at a seaside spa and resort. The water of the sea is so rich in minerals that upon entrance, we can effortlessly float on our backs. At the resort, we will also be able to cover ourselves from head-to-toe in the all-natural Dead Sea mud, which will leave our skin feeling soft, smooth, and fresh. We may also receive a massage from one of the resort&38217s professional masseurs.

After a soothing day of relaxation, we will make our way back to Jerusalem, on our way passing the archaeological site of Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Guests will be returned to their hotels in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv to bring an end to the tour. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off information.
