Day 1 Honolulu-Pearl Harbor-Honolulu(23 miles)

This tour of Hawaii takes us on an exploration of Oahu past and present.

Guests will be picked up at Waikiki hotels in the morning. Our first stop of the day will be Pearl Harbor, HI, where we will learn about the attack the catapulted the United States into World War II. Our tour will take us to the USS Arizona Memorial and the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, also known as the Punchbowl National Cemetery. We will then have a special guided tour of the USS Missouri, the battleship on which Japan signed documents of surrender at the end of World War II.

We will then return to Honolulu, HI to take a tour of the city that highlights its status as the Hawaiian capital. Stops on our tour include the Honolulu Hale, 'Iolani Palace, Kawalaha'o Church, and the Statue of King Kamehameha I.

At the end of the day, we will return to the departure points for dropoff. Please see "Departure and Returns" for more information.
