Day 1

Guests will be picked up from the specified departure location in El Calafate. Today, we will head to Los Glaciares National Park to visit the famous Perito Moreno Glacier. When we first arrive, we will board a boat that will take us closer to the glacier?s south wall. While here, we will learn how the glacier is still growing and the process that causes this. Armed with that knowledge, we will gain an appreciation for the massive glacier. We will also have the opportunity to walk along the footbridge in front of it, known as the Mirador, which provides a magnificent view. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

Los Glaciares National Park, ARGENTINA

It hosts a representative sample of Magellanic subpolar forest and west Patagonian steppe biodiversity in good state of conservation. In 1981, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Perito Moreno Glacier

This glacier is located deep in the southern part of the Patagonia region in Argentina. An excellent place to learn about geology, the glacier ruptures every few years due to the extreme pressure of layer and layer of ice.

The start time is an approximate departure time from your hotel. Your exact pick up time will be sent to you once you confirm your reservation.
Comfortable shoes, sunglasses and sunblock are recommended for this tour.
You MUST provide passport information for each passenger (name, passport number, nationality, date of birth) at booking. If you do not the tour will be cancelled.

No refunds, credits, exchanges, or cancellations of a voucher will be granted once voucher has been issued. Refunds will not be issued for unused or partially used attractions or services.
