Explore the bustling activity of the city's main business section, the "Loop" and historic center of the city, famous architecture and tallest buildings in the world. After guests have been picked up from the specified departure location, we will begin this tour. We will drive through Chicago's main business district, one of the most bustling financial centers in the world. We will tour the famous Loop, as well as State Street, one of the most important thoroughfares in the city's history. Next, we will traverse the striking Richard J. Daley Center before taking a ride on iconic Wacker Drive. We will also learn about the incredible engineers that designed a method to make the Chicago River flow backwards.

Along the way, we will see the famous white Wrigley Building that begins the Magnificent Mile; Michigan Avenue, home to the city's most exclusive stores; and Water Tower Place, which is next to the massive John Hancock Center. In the large Lincoln Park area, we will see Wrigley Field, the Chicago History Museum, the Newberry Library, and the Lincoln Park Conservatory. Afterwards, we will return to the departure location, where guests will be dropped off to bring an end to this tour.     Chicago is a city of color and history. The largest city in the American Midwest, it sits on Lake Michigan. It is home to one of the world's tallest buildings, the Willis Tower, and many other amazing activities.

    State Street

    One of the most famous streets in Chicago, State Street runs north-to-south through the heart of the busiest areas, beginning at Lincoln Park on the North Side and extending through some of the southern suburbs.

    Richard J Daley Center

    Named after one of Chicago's most famous mayors, this skyscraper and its adjacent plaza are perhaps best known for the large sculpture made by Pablo Picasso. It is a civic center, home to over 120 courts and hearing rooms.

    Wacker Drive

    Perhaps the most iconic street in Chicago, Wacker Drive is a two-decker roadway that travels along the Chicago River. It has served as a setting for car chases in classic films like "The Blues Brothers" and "The Dark Knight."

    Wrigley Building

    This lovely cream-white building sits right along the Chicago River and marks the beginning of the Magnificent Mile. It was built to hosue the Wrigley Gum Company. Its tower was designed to resemble the Giralda of Spain's Sevilla Cathedral.

    Magnificent Mile

    The Magnificent Mile is an upscale neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois. It is known for its shopping, hotels, and nightlife. It is also home to famous Chicago landmarks like the Wrigley Building, Tribune Tower, and the Chicago Water Tower.

    Water Tower Place

    Named for the nearby Chicago Water Towe, this facility is both a 74 story skyscraper as well as a massive, multi-floor shopping mall. Oprah Winfrey is the most famous full-time resident, having bought a condoin 2006.

    John Hancock Center

    Stretching 100 stories above downtown Chicago, the John Hancock Center was at one point the tallest building in the world outside of New York. Now the 4th-tallest in Chicago, the 360 Chicago observation deck is at the top.

    Lincoln Park

    Lincoln Park sees more than twenty million-- that's 20,000,000-- visitors every year, making it the second most-visited park in the country. It covers 1200 acres of shoreline along Lake Michigan and was created in 1843.

    Wrigley Field

    Home of Major League Baseball's Chicago Cubs, this stadium is the second oldest porfessional baseball stadium in the country, one of the last to use a hand-turned scoreboard. Its iconic outfield walls are covered with ivy.

    Chicago History Museum

    As its name suggests, this large museum in the Lincoln Park neighborhood houses exhibits and artifacts that detail the rich history of the beautiful city of Chicago, as well as its role in the larger picture of U.S. history.

    Newberry Library

    This independent research library is free and open to the public, with impressive collections of texts that deal with a diverse array of fields in the humanities and social sciences.

    Lincoln Park Conservatory

    This conservatory and botanical garden is in a large greenhouse and contain extensive collections of plant life. The facility also helps with community outreach porgrams as well as providing educational opportunities to those interested in botany.
